39 Weeks

Wow...My ticker says 5 Days to Go!!

We had our 39 week appointment this afternoon. I am in the exact same place as I was at the last appointment. Our Dr. went ahead and scheduled an induction date for October 15th at 4am!! Hopefully we won't go that long, but she said she wanted us to have an end planned and in sight. She actually is going to be working 24 hours from Friday at 9 am to Saturday at 9 am so she said she hopes to see us on the 9th! We're hoping too. My blood pressure was up a bit when we arrived it was 136/80. The highest on my charts so far is only 112/72. They took it again at the end just to see and it was down to 120 so she was not too worried. She monitored little boy again to make sure he was not under any stress. Everything was great.

Cute side note: We went to have pedicures today and get ice cream. While I was standing and eating my ice cream a little boy (probably about 8) came over to me and stood right in front of me. I was not sure what he was going to do. He looked at his mom, pointed at my belly and said, "Look how full her belly is!!" It sure is full buddy! His mom was so embarassed. She told him, "There's a baby in her belly." he so did not believe her and had to ask me himself.

One of my kindergartners brought a picture of me over that was in a classbook taken last year. He showed me the picture and said, "Mrs. Capps, is this from a long time ago when you used to be skinny?" Why yes it is! Can I go crawl in a hole now? haha
