Ashden is 12 Months!

Ashden is 12 months old! You are 21 lbs and 30.5 inches tall. We started attending Music Together on Saturday mornings. You are walking from toy to toy and can stand for longer periods of time. You can walk behind your shopping cart and a good distance of about 10 steps across the room. With help you will get back up and keep walking. You are such a good sleeper and we still have not had to get you since you started sleeping in your room! We find ourselves anxious for you to wake up in the morning when it feels like you are going to sleep forever! You say “hewo” for hello when you pick up a phone or a toy. You say “nana” for bananas and you sing “row, row, row” when we do row, row, row your boat. You say “on” for everything that you want to turn on or off. You love to push buttons! You even push buttons on scary creatures when Kiley tells you to because she is scared to do it herself! Your list of words is growing every day and it is hard to keep track, but here are some of them (old and new) compiled for memory sake: hello, on, open, clock, banana, ouch, bath, moon, milk, night night, boobies, bubbles, up, mom, dad, no no no, book, dog, cat, a, o, hat, bubba (Bubbe), papa, shoes, this, that, hot, cold, pee pee, quack, yummy, uh oh, Elmo, apple, boo boo. You recognize the letters A, O & E. You pick them out in every story or on signs in public. You make the sound “muah” when you give or blow a kiss now. You raise your arms for hooray! You point to the moon at night and tell us “mmmmoo”. You love to watch airplanes and birds in the air. You say “quack” if you see a picture of a duck.
