10 Months Old!

Wow! If it is at all possible, you get cuter by the day! You are doing so much now! I am shocked at how long your 10 month description is. I also want to add that it is getting increasingly more difficult to take your pictures each month. You do not want to sit still! Evidence: 10 month sign in your picture! You kept grabbing it and crumpling it!

Ashden is 10 months old! This month you finished swim lessons. We did lots of summer mommy & me classes and story times together. You have just started blowing kisses. You pick up the phone and accidentally call people and say hi every chance you get. You also use your hand, both hands, dinosaurs and any other toys to pretend talk on the phone. You point to me and say “mom” and you point to dad and say “a dada” or “dad”. You are crawling upright and you pull up on every piece of furniture or on your toys. You are finally using your legs to take steps while you are up right and holding on. You also make the Indian sound when we put our hand over your mouth. You have started screaming at everything that you want and demanding each thing. We think we have broken your screaming habit by showing you to say “mmmmm” when you see food that you want. Now you say “mmm” to any food you see. You always want to try everything. Your favorite place right now is Publix. You “mmm” everything that we put in the cart. You love the deli section because they always give you turkey and cheese! Who needs cookies? You have learned to snap with your fingers, but you make the sound with your mouth. You also move your hand in a circle and sing “round and round” when we do the fan song to the tune of “The Wheels on the Bus”. You say clock and point to every clock you pass. You reach your arms high in the sky when we ask how big you are! Your favorite story right now is “From Head to Toe” by Eric Carle. You do several of the motions on each page. Bubbe has started getting you ready for your first birthday. When we ask about your birthday you hold up one finger because you are turning one!
