So, this was my third year with our principal at my school. We have definitely had our ups and downs. There were times where we all wanted to scream and rip our hair out, but really I think we all enjoyed it. Also, who knows what is coming???? Well, I didn't expect to be so emotional about the whole thing. We sang that goodbye song. Student Council all gave speeches (which ripped out Marty's heart). Then, he said a bunch of words and was walking away and all of the kids started chanting his name. I don't know how it started, but it was so loud and it really got to me. To hear all of the kids so involved and so concerned. He actually came back to the microphone. He joked that they were trying to prolong the ceremony so they could stay outside longer, but it really overwhelmed him. He is off to a brand new adventure. GOODLUCK!!!!
