House Hunting...Literally

So, we finally make an offer. Well, not completely. We went to the sales office, picked up the contract to review (mind you we have not signed, completed or turned in a check) Yet, Maggie (my favorite lady) put out a sold sign, gave us the bi-laws and even the information we need for all of the construction info and the "if things go wrong" type of manual for who to call with the house....Hmmm sounds definite....WRONG our contract is due on Saturday and upon receiving it she said she will take it to "the man" and present it with our hefty check personally....but suddenly my phone rings this evening while I was on the phone with Grandma and it was Maggie. She was calling me after business hours to inform me that our offer was rejected...WHAT OFFER?? I still have the unsigned contract. Well, she says that she decided to e-mail the proposal to "the man" and he denied it. She also says that her girlfriends in the Baldwin complex spoke with her on the phone and all of their offers were rejected as well. She says that they made offers identical to accepted offers last week and they were even rejected. Hmmm something doesn't seem right here? What do you think?? So as far as house hunting goes...Shoot ME now! Well, this WAS our future dream home...
