So, we were out the door by 6:30 this morning to vote. We got there and found out that they wouldn't be open until noon. It's Sunday, duh! So, we ran a bunch of errands and got an early start to our day. We went back to the library at 11. An hour early, we will be the only people waiting, right? WRONG! We were already an estimated hour and half from the front door. Add the hour of waiting for them to open. That's about 2.5 hours of waiting. It was great on our blanket, until the rain came! It rained for 2 hours straight. We shared our umbrellas with our voting neighbors. Poor Josh was so tired of listening to the boy behind us, he wanted to go 10 spots backwards just to get away. The boy kept talking about his political views without any regard for the people that he was sharing them with. We really had a lot of fun besides listening to "The Boy".
I tried to capture a few pictures of the lines wrapped around the parking lot and down the streets, but I just couldn't get it from any angle.
Hip hip hooray, we got to vote today!
