With TONS of computer problems we have not been able to post! Thanks to my mommy we are now back up and running! My MIL has been so anxious to see pictures so here we go!!!
So after lots of contemplation we decided to keep the front area bright. Instead of purchasing the dark wood furniture for this room we went with BRIGHT white. This was pretty bold for us :) My only problem was the seat cushions. They were just plain beige. So, off I went to JoAnn's.

Problem corrected! Nice and bright like I wanted.
Colorful couches for the front room. AKA the dogs favorite place to sit and guard the house!
New table for the nook.
Family room. We were buying so much dark furniture for the back of the house which is what led to the bright furniture for the front.

HEY!! The furniture looks WONDERFUL!! It is great!! And a very good job of reupholstering too. Guess that I should have checked your blog sooner. Whoops!! Everything looks great!!
